Christina Perri… aku kenal dengan nama itu lewat lagu “Jar of Hearts” yang gak kalah enaknya. Penyanyi sekaligus pencipta lagu asal Philadelphia itu piawai sekali membawakan lagu ini. Lembut dan menghanyutkan gimanaaa gitu.

Mendengar sekilas pun, aku yakin, orang akan mengambil kesimpulan kalau lagu berdurasi 4 menit 45 lima detik ini bertemakan cinta. Lagu ini mengisahkan cinta seseorang yang berawal dari sebuah keraguan/kebimbangan. Namun seiring waktu, berbagai hal membawa dia pada ketetapan hatinya.

One step closer… Seterusnya ketetapan hati tersebut menjadikan cinta yang tumbuh itu pada tahap kesetiaan. Sampai-sampai sang pecinta mengumbarkan ungkapan yang berlebihan, namun ‘jleb’; I have loved you for a thousand years, I’ll love for a thousand more.
