Sakit hati dan penyesalan Adele ternyata menjadi inspirasi dalam menciptakan sebuah lagu berjudul Hello.

"I'm sorry, for everything that I've done, but when I call you never seem to be home," begitulah penggalan lirik yang mengandung makna cukup dalam dari penyesalannya.

Seperti dikutip dari US Magazine, hal itu diungkapkan Adele saat menjalani interview dengan sebuah media. 

"Hello adalah tentang keinginan berada di rumah dan keinginan untuk menghubungi orang yang pernah aku sakiti (termasuk aku sendiri) dan meminta maaf," katanya.

Adele enggan mengarahkan jika lagu tersebut untuk mantan kekasihnya. Namun, ia mengungkapkan lagu tersebut kepada para penggemarnya jika ia tak pernah meninggalkan para penggemarnya setelah beberapa tahun vakum.

"Itu sudah berakhir beberapa tahun yang lalu. Bukan, lagu ini bukan tentang seseorang yang spesifik. Ini tentang teman, mantan, diri sendiri, dan keluarga. Ini juga tentang para penggemarku. Aku merasa bahwa semua orang berpikir aku sudah terlalu jauh namun sebenarnya tidak. Semua orang berpikir aku hidup di Amerika, padahal aku tidak," paparnya.

Album terbarunya sendiri akan dirilis pada bulan November dengan judul "25". Album ini dideskripsikan sebagai make-up record Adele dan akan banyak bercerita tentang masa lalunya.
